Order Processing

Items on our website are available and ready to ship within 3 business days unless otherwise stated. We process & ship orders on Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays with SF, DHL or FedEx is closed. Orders placed after 3:00 pm EST will be processed on the next business day (Mon-Thurs) and then shipped.

Items that are not ready to ship will be processed as indicated in the item listing and then shipped on the next shipping date.

Orders are shipped via SF, DHL or FedEx unless otherwise stated. Tracking information, when applicable, will be provided.

If you need your order expedited, please contact us prior to placing your order so we can discuss alternative shipping options.

Extreme Temperatures

Soy wax is sensitive to extreme hot or cold temperatures, and we take this into consideration when determining ship dates. Your shipment may be delayed during extreme weather conditions.

Damaged in Transit

If your item(s) arrive damaged, please contact us immediately. We will ask you to send photos of the package and damaged items. These photos will be required for us to file a claim with the post office or DHL/SF/FedEx. Please do not throw out the damaged packaging or items until we have confirmed if the shipping carrier will need to pick them up.

Items that are damaged during shipping will be replaced by Calm Candles Essential at no additional cost. If the item is no longer available, you will have the option of selecting a comparable item or a refund for the item(s) that are unusable.

Shipping Promotions

The least expensive shipping option will be utilized, regardless of what is selected at checkout, for orders using a free shipping promotion or discount.

Eco-Friendly Shipping

We make a conscious effort to use eco-friendly packing materials when feasible. To wrap candles, we use a die-cut kraft paper with a tissue interleaf. For box fillers, we use kraft paper or packing peanuts that dissolve in water.

All our packages are shipped as carbon neutral. The emissions produced to ship the package are calculated, and carbon credits are purchased that protect the equivalent number of trees. Carbon credits may also support landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment, and methane destruction.

Special Orders and Wholesale Orders

These provisions do not apply to special orders and wholesale transactions. Special orders and wholesale transactions are subject to the terms of the individual contract.

Wholesale and special orders are not eligible for any other shipping offers or promotions unless specifically stated.
